Although I’ve been a reader all my life, majored in English, and was an amateur reviewer and literary critic for several years, it never occurred to me to try writing fiction until a few years ago. With the idea for EMISSARY firmly in mind, I started plotting the novel, and discovered that writing was fun and exciting and I wanted to do more of it. So I did.
I live out west with my husband, four children, and three cats, one of whom (the cats, not the humans) is thicker than a brick sandwich and has been known to walk into walls with a resounding thump. When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading and talking about reading, sewing costumes, papercraft, and playing our family Pathfinder campaign.
